|Not a beer drinker? Wine doesn’t do it for you? That leaves spirits. Aka, a distilled beverage. Aka, liquor.
Experience our newest addition to our menu of bike tours of Boulder. Boulder’s micro-distillery culture is growing and we now have 3 official small-batch micro-distilleries all within a 3 mile radius of each other! Each offers their own special spirit ranging from gin and vodka, to whiskey, a special concoction called “Corretto”– a delicious coffee liqueur, and a unique type of barrel-aged gin called “Brown Gin”.
We’ve got the perfect route mapped out for our guests to reach the first distillery, 303Vodka, within only a short distance from our starting point. Here you can pop in for a tasting, sit for a spell, take in the sights, play a little pinball on an old 70’s era pinball machine, then “gear up” for the next leg of our spirited journey. We’ll work our way along quiet bike routes and paths to reach our next stop: J & L Distilling, the newbie in the distilling neighborhood. These guys offer small batch vodka, gin, and a unique liqueur which is a must-try.
Finally, we’ll take a casual cruise a couple miles along a peaceful route to our final distillery: Roundhouse Spirits for a friendly visit with the staff to taste their delicious gin, or maybe try their coffee liqueur or they’re unique oak barrel-aged “Brown Gin”. As they say over at Roundhouse, the cocktails will cost you, but the shuffleboard and foosball is free! Let it bring you back in time!
Back to reality. We take a long, non-stop leisurely bike ride back to our starting point, experiencing panoramic views of the Boulder Foothills landscape as we head back west. This is a tour for the adventurous with discriminating tastes!
