We are Boulder Area Bicycle Adventures and we’re so pleased you’ve chosen us to be your guide on an exciting and invigorating journey by bicycle discovering all that is Boulder, Colorado. This lovely, spirited town “nestled between the mountains and reality” is among only three (3) U.S. cities awarded the Platinum level designation as a “Bicycle-friendly Community” by the League of American Bicyclists.

Boulder boasts over 300 dedicated miles of bikeways of which one third are car-free bike paths. And with over 300 sunny days a year, moderate temperatures, and some of the best views you could ever see, you’re sure to have a pleasantly memorable experience.

On your BABA tour, you will discover the majesty of Boulder on one our well-designed scenic routes showcasing Boulder’s mountain vistas, the raging Boulder Creek, Historic Downtown Boulder & award-winning pedestrian mall with 5-star restaurants, numerous cafés & coffee houses, and ongoing free entertainment by world-renowned street performers. You can even visit a local brewery or a coffee roaster for a tour of their process and a tasting.

Our tours range in length from two leisurely hours, to half and full-day adventures in and around Boulder’s foothills, prairies, and deep within the lively city itself.

We offer regular daily bike tours, private custom tours, and even self-guided tours of Boulder by bicycle for almost ANY occasion.

We have partnered up with Boulder Bikesmith to offer several bike options that fit most any rider including cruisers/comfort bikes, suspension mountain bikes, road & tandem bikes, and even kid’s trailers.

Tour packages may include a bike lesson from a trained bicycle coach, or you can have private lessons to learn all the skills necessary to be a safe, strong, confident rider on trails or on the road. If a gourmet picnic lunch by a rushing creek to break up your epic journey is more to your liking, we’ll have it ready for you.
